Katelyn (Katie) is a Marriage and Family Therapy Associate who brings several years of experience in the mental health field. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Services and Counseling, with minors in Psychology and Communication, from Lindsey Wilson College in 2021, and went on to complete her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Campbellsville University in 2025. Katie has served in roles such as Community Support Associate (CSA) and Targeted Case Manager (TCM), where she supported both children and adults by connecting them to essential resources and assisting them in meeting therapeutic goals. She has worked with individuals from diverse backgrounds and across various stages of life, with experience ranging from early childhood through adulthood. She is known for her compassionate, empathetic nature and active listening skills. Katie is especially passionate about working with children and young adults. She takes a nonjudgmental, client-centered approach, meeting clients where they are and tailoring treatment to their unique needs and goals. Her therapeutic approach integrates cognitive behavioral techniques, solution-focused strategies, and mindfulness, while also incorporating art and play therapy to help clients of all ages express emotions and experiences that may be difficult to put into words.
