Jama Maldonado is a compassionate and dedicated mental health therapist who earned a master’s degree in social work from Campbellsville University’s Carver School of Social Work in 2024. She was also inducted into the Phi Alpha National Social Work Honor Society for her dedication
to academic excellence and commitment to the social work profession's standards, ethics, and goals. With a strong academic foundation and practical training through supervised clinical experience, Jama is committed to supporting individuals on their journey toward emotional well-being and personal growth. Jama joined Bluegrass Professional Counseling in 2021 as a Community Support Associate, serving the Barren County area. She has experience working with a diverse range of clients and presents a warm, client-centered approach, integrating evidence-based practices into a safe and inclusive environment.
With a passion for mental health advocacy and a deep respect for each client’s unique story, Jama recognizes the importance of building therapeutic relationships rooted in trust, empathy, and collaboration. She strives to ensure all individuals feel heard, validated, and empowered to make meaningful change.
