"Anything that's human is mentionable, and anything that is mentionable can be more manageable." – Fred Rogers
Abrianna “Abri” Sanchez is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPCA) and Louisville native who believes in the power of naming and sharing our experiences. She holds that when we put words to our feelings, they become less overwhelming and easier to navigate, a philosophy that shapes her collaborative, person-centered approach to therapy.
Abri earned her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Western Kentucky University in 2024. She is passionate about helping clients navigate anxiety, strengthen emotional regulation, build self-esteem, improve communication, and adjust to life’s transitions. She also enjoys supporting clients with ADHD, helping them discover personalized strategies to fit their unique lives. Her therapeutic style blends Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), while adapting to each client’s needs. She is expanding her clinical skills through training in Brainspotting and maternal mental health to better support clients with trauma, ADHD, and perinatal concerns.
Abri views therapy as a collaborative process, not a place where the therapist holds all the answers, but a shared journey. She considers herself not just a guide, but a fellow traveler alongside her clients in the journey toward healing and self-discovery.
